oh, before we go any further...Katie isn't a morning kinda gal.

it takes me a good 20 minutes just get her to come downstairs!

When she finally arrives, she finds her clothes awaiting her.

sometimes, she crumbles up her undies!

Usually (umm...most of the time!) she launches pillows!

she sCreAMs.......always.

sometimes she let's me know exactly what she thinks of me!

for the love of vintage

i spend a lot (too much) time searching for new blogs. to me, clicking onto a newly discovered blog is equally as exciting as opening a birthday gift.


i have been trying to be more creative over the past year. the blog world has inspired me to try new things and when i find an extra creative blog - well that's like unwrapping a great gift.

today i found this wonderfully creative blog.

i am impressed by Cathe's creativity her love of vintage. i can't wait to devour all of her postings. Cathe is a graphic designer and she is sweet enough to share her creations with us!

teenagers

have i mentioned that i have 4 teenagers......19, 17, 16 and 15.....

oh and then there is the 11 and 9 year olds, but i am not going to talk about them in this post.

these are the hardest days of my life right now.

everyday there is another argument with another kid - did i mention that i am emotionally e.x.h.a.u.s.t.e.d??? well i am!

frustrated! nothing seems to get resolved - and i am the one who ends up in tears!

these days are very difficult.....! trying to show them the "right" way - i know that they must go out and make their own mistakes, i truly believe that is the best way to learn right from wrong, of course with some guidance!

i wonder if i am too controlling............i wonder if my kids are just spoiled.

in the end, i want them to be happy and responsible adults - that's all i want - - but do i really have to go through all t his aggravation??????

why is it so easy for some families?

Today my neice decided to be a tattoo artist! She gave herself and her little sisters loads of tattoos and Mommy didn't even know about it.

i love this idea

Turning my children's art work into a canvas. I found this website today - now I am going to gather up all the years of drawings and find the perfect wall in my home to display the masterpieces. So cute..
