Cutest Party Centerpiece.

Today, (actually tonight late tonight) while reading some of my fave blogs I came across the cutest centerpieces. I have been clipping out and filing ideas for a "candy buffet" and this idea has made its way to the top of my pile. Not only is it incerdibly adorable - I think I can actually pull it off!, pretty easily!
Taffy Skewers - super cute. I found it here. I love this blog and all the creative party ideas that Donna offers.....

You can find them online at candywarehouse.com but they are pricey compare to Jack's candy wholesale in dt LA. They don't have a website yet

Any idea how many pieces per centerpiece?

Are the skewers inserted through the taffy or are they attatched with something?

Ok I tried inserting the skewer thru the taffy, made a mess. Any suggestions?

It's so cute, did anyone figure out how to insert the skewers through the taffy without making a mess?

found this explanation of how to make the taffy skewers... I think the it may be important to keep them warm so they are soft enough to start out.... http://sewcakemake.blogspot.com/2011/06/taffy-sparklers.html

Are you sure the Skewers are put through the tafy? the candy won't get stale?

Dip the skewers in cold water with each piece

I'm going to use hot glue to stick them to the skewers
