shopping for puppies

i think the day has arrived when we have decided to have a puppy join our family. i have been spending most of my time this week searching the web for the right little guy to come into our life. we have narrowed the search down to the following.

this is a morkie...part maltese part yorkie.........now i think she is adorable. the only ones that i have found are males and we are leaning towards a female at the moment.

this is a malti poo........part maltese part poodle. We had saw one and it was taken by the time I called....so the search contines.

this is a shih poo. part shitzu and part poodle.......only gets about 8 lbs.

and finally..this is little guy is called a "daisy dog". we have a breeder of this unique dog near us. it is a mix of several non shedding dogs.....the breeder keeps her "recipe" for this dog secret. my friend has one and loves it.
so confusing!!! all so cute. the search continues.
if anyone can offer any advice i would LOVE to hear it.

My daughter just adopted a maltese and I think she is the smartest, non allergenic, best natured dog I have ever been around. We have 2 westies and they make great pets as well, they are just a little bigger than the ones you are looking at. Good Luck! Paula

We have a Morkie, as does my sister. LOVE the temperament. We both also wanted a small dog, so we chose the Morkie because that cross would result in the smallest possible mix since Yorkies and Maltese standards are smaller than poodles and Shi tzus. Our morkie also gets along wonderfully with our 80 pound weimaraner and plays just like she is a big dog. Good luck with your choice!

Please, please consider adopting a rescue puppy. There are soooo many unwanted, abondoned dogs that need good, loving homes such as yours!

I have a Ganaraskan and he is the most AMAZING dog ever, his temperament is unparalleled, and he is so cute, look the breed up on the internet, the breeders live in Ontario.

I would definitely recommend getting a Daisy Dog from that local breeder you mentioned. My parents bought me a Daisy Dog from her and Sandy has been the BEST dog I could have ever asked for. She is very smart, good with everyone, isn't a yappy dog, very loving and an overall good nature dog. She is going on 13 years old now and still has the heart and spirit of a young dog. She is adorable, only 8 lbs, and if you are looking for a dog that will be good with small children...a Daisy Dog is a great match. My husband and I are actually in the process of looking for a dog and we are going back to Jennifer.

Have a daisy dog that looks just like the one in the picture. Absolutely perfect dog.

About Me

I have been very happily married to my "kindergarten sweetheart" for 20 years............well we actually didn't start dating until we were in our 20's...... Together we have 6 wonderful children. They are 17, 16, 15, 14, 10 and 8. Although, we have moved around often, I am hopeful that we are now settled back home in Michigan.
