Okay if you notice I have been changing my template like every second.........I am unhappy with all of them. Can someone help me find a template that displays all my posts in the middle (without cutting off photo's) and have my archives, blogs i follow and profile on the sides or side - I am frustrated!!! HELP. I will take any advice.

I use minima ochre. The color doesn't really matter, but it works out well for me right now. I have my text and content on the left side with my archives, photos, blogroll, etc.... on the right side. It also allows for a med- lg. header.

Check out thecutestblogontheblock.com That is where I have gotten some of my templates that allow the things you are wanting. You can also change your header from medium to large.
I wish I knew how to make the backgrounds from scratch now. LOL
